Kit #4 – Reduced shank chromoly studs with rolled threads for FA/STS and STOCK HEADS WITH MANEY or MOLNAR ALUM CYLINDERS. SS spring washers and 12 pt ARP SS nuts. Stock and early FA heads require inserts.

High strength ARP. The triangular shape allows a reduced shank while still locating the head on the cylinders. 12 pt nuts and Belleville spring washers included.  16 tpi into head for increased strength and 24 tpi nuts for tight clamping.  STS heads come pre-equiped with 16 tpi inserts but early FA and stock heads require 3/8″ x .620″ x 16 Time-Serts.  Note that the Molnar studs we provide are slightly shorter than the Maney studs shown in the photo.
